One of my great passions, The Microfit Group, is a small business development firm located in Birmingham, AL.
Each project we handle uniquely, focusing on what is best for the customer. There are times where we handle the project 100% internally (usually by client request) and there are times we “delegate” the work out to industry experts.
The issue with the creative process is always found in understanding what the client wants, while letting the expert do their job.
More and more, we are moving towards using our network of partners to get the physical work done, while we play the role of an advisor. This allows us to remain completely neutral, guiding the project from an outside perspective.
We’ve found this helps the client “hear” the advice and not get so stuck on personal preference, as well as help the company we bring in to understand the business model of our client, putting them in a position to offer sound options.
All of this brings clarity and focus to the projects, helping create a better end result.
